Lov is Deeper than at first it can be thought. It never ceaseth but in Endless Things. It ever Multiplies. Its Benefits and its Designes are always Infinit. Were you not Holy Divine and Blessed in Enjoying the World, I should not care so much to Bestow it. But now in this you accomplish the End of your Creation, and serv God best, and Pleas Him most: I rejoyce in Giving it. For to Enable you to Pleas GOD, is the Highest Service a Man can do you. It is to make you Pleasing to the King of Heaven, that you may be the Darling of His bosom.

O amor é mais profundo do que a princípio se pode pensar. Nunca acaba senão em coisas sem fim. Multiplica-se sempre. Os seus benefícios e os seus desígnios são sempre infinitos. Não fosseis vós santa, conhecedora das coisas de Deus e bem-aventurada na fruição do mundo, não me preocuparia tanto em vo-lo proporcionar. Mas, como nisto realizais o fim para que fostes criada e servis melhor a Deus e mais Lhe agradais: exulto de alegria em o dar. Pois capacitar-vos a agradar a Deus é o maior serviço que um homem vos pode prestar. É tornar-vos grata ao Rei do Céu, para que sejais a dilecta do Seu íntimo.
